If the radiator becomes clogged or is damaged in any way, it will have to be replaced or your engine will overheat.
Paying attention to the water pump
The water pump is very important to the cooling of your engine. This is because it is the device which will circulate the coolant through the engine and the radiator. Regardless of the name, no water is every pumped through the device anymore as it will get so hot that the pipes for the coolant will burst from the pressure. If the belt which powers the water pump ever breaks or the water pump starts to leak, it is essential that they are replaced immediately because of their importance to the cooling of the engine.
